How do you improve best-selling SureFire classics like the G2 Nitrolon and 6P Original? By creating versions featuring virtually indestructible LEDs, that's how. Super-efficient light emitting diodes that produce 25% more light and run up to 12 times longer on a set of batteries than the incandescent lamps used in the originals. Then, give them attractive sticker prices that make these lights outstanding values, as well. Because the new 6P Original LED and G2 Nitolon LED weren't just designed to perform - they were designed to move.
SureFire has begun shipments of the 6P Defender. The new model is a development of the ever popular Surefire 6P Original, adding a crenelated bezel to the torch. The new torch is in stock and ready to ship now.
For 20 years now, the SureFire 6P Original, with its high-output tactical-level beam, has been the number-one self-defense flashlight choice of many men and women worldwide. The new SureFire 6P Defender enhances this classics self-defense capabilities by adding a crenellated Strike Bezel.

28th Jan 05 - Upgraded LED Conversion Head For SureFire Executive Series
The new KL1 LED Conversion Head is an upgrade to the previous KL1. By stepping up to a 3 watt LED and using advanced electronics to moderate the power input to the LED, SureFire engineers were able to double the light output of the former 1 watt KL1, from 15 to 30 lumens in the two-battery models. In the single-battery model, the output rose from 15 to 25 lumens. The runtimes remain essentially unchanged, thanks to the increased efficiency of the 3 watt diode.
The KL1 LED Conversion Heads fits either the single-battery E1E Executive Elite or the two-battery E2E Executive Elite. It also fits the two-battery E20 Outdoorsman. The conversion produces 30 lumens for six hours in a two-battery model and 25 lumens for four hours in the single-battery Executive Elite.
7th Aug 04 - SureFire launches LED Torch with Hi-Lo Beam
SureFire has launched the L2 LumaMax, a digitally regulated, dual-output flashlight
featuring a high-beam bright enough to blind an attacker and a low-beam mode for
extended runtime and close work. At 6.1 inches and weighing just 4.2 ounces (with
batteries) the L2 outperforms larger flashlights in light output, runtime, and utility.
The L2 incorporates a custom-programmed microprocessor that regulates the current
flow from the batteries to provide the best light quality, as well as delivering the
maximum amount of useful light from a set of batteries. For reliability and performance,
the L2 incorporates a premium quality LED (Light Emitting Diode), which unlike a bulb,
will not break or burnout.
13th Mar 04 - Surefire Announces New Self-Defense Flashlight
SureFire added a new model in 2004 to its best-selling Executive Series, the E2d Defender. The Defender features a crenellated bezel and scalloped tailcap designed to enhance its effectiveness as defensive tool.
At less than 4 ozs. and less than an inch longer than a standard E2e Executive Elite, the new
E2d Defender is ideal for those who wish to ensure their own safety. Carried in a pocket or
purse, the Defender can instantly unleash a dazzling beam of light to temporarily blind an
assailant.
The new bezel features five crenellations to maximize the impact force of a defensive blow.
The tailcap sports four scallops that protect the dual-position switch while also serving as an
impact enhancement.
28th Feb 04 - SureFire M3 CombatLight Gets Crenelated
SureFire now offers its flagship tactical flashlight, the M3 CombatLight, with an optional crenellated bezel designed to enhance the M3’s effectiveness as a defensive tool.
The new bezel features six crenellations to maximize the impact force of a defensive blow.
The M3 CombatLight is part of SureFire’s premium handheld tactical flashlight series,
known as the Millennium Special Operations Series.
The M3 CombatLight incorporates SureFire’s unique shock-isolation system that used in all SureFire WeaponLights to cushion the high-pressure Xenon lamp against recoil. A key feature of the M3 CombatLight is its modular design that allows for various components to interchange with select SureFire weapon-mounted lights.
19th Feb 04 - SureFire Introduces U2 Ultra - a Variable Power LED Light
SureFire’s new U2 Digital Ultra is a variable power flashlight with a super-bright LED that
allows the user to dial the exact amount of light for a given task.
The key feature of the new Digital Ultra is a selector ring that allows the user to dial between
two and 100 lumens of light from the 5 watt LED. The runtime on the Digital Ultra varies
depending on the amount of light selected (over 40 hours of light on the lowest setting), but
because the LED is so efficient, the duration will greatly exceed any traditional tungsten
filament bulb.
The Digital Ultra represents the ultimate flashlight, hence the name, said Cameron
Hopkins, SureFire’s vice president of sales and marketing. Sometimes a flashlight can be
just too bright and other times it’s not bright enough. Now with our new variable power
Ultra, you can have just the right amount of light.
