For close observations with an even brighter image: Like the ST 8x30, the ST 8x40 features a 140 m field of view but offers even more brightness due to its larger objective lens diameter. Closeness to the object is rendered possible by the 4.50 m near focus.

Aspherical optics. The ST models are extremely robust, handle well and are lightweight at the same time. Thanks to their ergonomically optimized bodies, the slender binoculars provide a secure grip. Aspherical lenses with LUGER DIM full coating guarantee a bright, high-contrast image. The five models of this product line cover an exceptionally wide range of fields: From the 8x30's generous, wide-angle field of view to the 7x50's large exit pupil and the 12x50's impressive twilight factor. All ST models come with a case and a carrying strap.
