 An eight-inch Medium Grit Stone unequivocally designed for the field.

701M stones are made of High Alumina Ceramic. This medium grit (brown) stone sharpens very dull edges. This stone is used dry without oil or water lubrication making it convenient and mess-free. Elliptical in shape, the Outdoor Profile stone has four distinct sharpening surfaces suitable for plain and serrated edges, shop tools and household items. It provides: A flat surface and large radius for PlainEdges, a small radius for SpyderEdges and a groove running the length of the stones for sharpening pointed objects like fishhooks, awls and darts. The stones are also sold in Pairs in a chocolate brown, split, leather case.
